Jody showed me this today...yep, I cried! (Not shocking!) It's a group of 5th graders from a school in Harlem who learned "Firework" by Katy Perry. Oprah heard about them and invited them to perform on her show that was airing on the Oscar stage. She called Katy Perry to see if she'd surprise the kids during their performance. Yep and Yep! Perry flew from Austria (no sleep) to sing with them. Very cool since these are often the overlooked kiddos...
