I find this whole controversy over Bell's book so fascinating for some reason. One of the things I appreciate about him...something I found lacking in Evan's "Evolving in Monkey Town"...is that he takes his questions to God. He wrestles with God in his intimate relationship with Him as opposed to simply changing his "bullet points" to ease his angst.
